Item 403.5(b)(8) of 40 CFR Part 403 General Pretreatment Regulations for Existing and New Sources of Pollution prohibits the introduction of any trucked or hauled pollutants to the Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) except at discharge points designated by the POTW. Metro Water Recovery accepts the following hauled and trucked waste at the designated points after meeting the listed requirements:

For wastes delivered to the Robert W. Hite Treatment Facility, Metro charges a treatment fee. Sections 5 and 6 of Metro’s Rules and Regulations outline specific requirements for Hauled Waste.
