Performing Consulting Services for Us

We solicit consultants through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process and selection is qualification based. Services may include study, pre-design, design, bidding, construction engineering, and post construction. We also maintain a number of ‘on-call’ contracts for a variety of services including surveying, geotechnical services, structural engineering, hazardous materials response, HVAC, and job-order-contracting.

Doing Construction Work for Us

We have a continuing demand for construction contractors on a variety of general and specialty projects. Contracts are typically awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The qualifications of the low bidder are reviewed to ensure that they meet minimum requirements such as: 

  • Permanent place of business
  • Adequate financial resources
  • Appropriate technical resources
  • Satisfactory work history

Pre-Qualification

We typically do not pre-qualify contractors for upcoming projects, but will on occasion. The decision to prequalify is determined on a project-by-project basis.

We post the results of all RFPs and bids solicitations online via the Rocky Mountain Bid System.
