Metro Releases 2024 Reports

Each year, Metro publishes reports presenting highlights from the previous year. Two of these reports have just been released: the Popular Annual Financial Report and the Year in Review.

Financial transparency is integral to maintaining trust between Metro Water Recovery and our employees, ratepayers, residents, connectors, government agencies, and other interested parties.

We are pleased to release our 2024 Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR). Based on our Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), the PAFR is intended to present an overview of our financial information in an easy-to-understand format. Look through the PAFR below for financial highlights related to our people, our communities, and our work.

Last year was our first time developing a PAFR. The 2023 PAFR received the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association, and we hope to receive the award again for our 2024 PAFR.

Year in Review

Metro Water Recovery also released its 2024 Year in Review report, Driven by Service, a true recognition of Metro’s great people and their commitment to serving the environment, our communities, and the industry.

Metro’s Year in Review documents are produced annually, serving as key communications to connectors, legislators, Metro’s Board of Directors, industry leaders, and members of the public. We invite you to read our 2024 Year in Review and share it with your professional networks and community.
